Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an enabling course allowing the students to understand the main features of data processing applicable onboard vessel. The course includes the basic construction of computer networks onboard the vessel including their strategic location at bridge and at the engine room. By the end of the course, the students are equipped with the knowledge to use the networked computers and its installed application for shipboard purpose including troubleshooting basic issues.
