The course covers the topics on ships constructions, type of ships, Shipboard Organization, Shipboard Routines, Statutory Regulations, mooring and anchoring related procedures, seamanship skills and rigging of bosun’s chair, pilot ladder, staging, rope and Rope works, wire  and Wire Ropes, Block and Tackles, application of occupational health and safety precautions on various shipboard works and deck maintenance performance in accordance with shipboard safety instructions and standards.
