E MAT_Engineering Materials
Class
Engineering Materials
Engineering Materials is an introductory course that allows the students to describe the characteristics, limitations, and parameter
considerations, technology of metallic and non-metallic materials used and processed in construction and repair of ships and equipment
including their destructive and non-destructive capacities and state.
By the end of the course the students are able to select materials appropriate for maintenance and repair on board the vessel.
